Location

Situated in the very heart of this enthralling city on the bustling Via Roma 389, the famous Santa Maria Assunta Cathedral, in Quattro Canti (the city's central "Four Corners" crossroads) is a short walk away.

The magnificent Capella Palatina, in the Palazzo dei Normanni, the city's most striking example of Norman architecture and Teatro Massimo, Italy's largest theatre, are also close by. Then enjoy the peace of the 12th-century ruined monastery of San Giovanni degli Eremiti. With its Norman bell tower and Islamic cupolas, is a lovely confluence of architectural styles - and surrounded by subtropical gardens of pomegranate and jasmine.

A stroll through the hub of the city leads to the lively Vucciria Market, which fills the side streets of Piazza San Domenico every day but Sunday. Here, the real flavour of the city is brought to life as locals haggle with vendors over every imaginable kind of produce.

Arriving from Palermo Airport, the airport terminal station is only 1.5km away. Almost all trains arrive and depart from Palermo Central Station. Regular connections also link Palermo to all other destinations on the island of Sicily and the other major Italian cities.

How to Get Here

From Palermo Airport: A shuttle service runs between the Airport and Palermo Central Station, two kilometres from the hotel. The hotel can also arrange transfers for a fee and taxis are available at the terminal.
